Drinking: Bitter Bastard
This Ginger Ale cocktail has a lovely taste from the 1st sip to the last. Similar in citrus/sweetness to Screwdrivers, Moscow Mules, Whiskey Sours, etc.
Bitter Bastard Recipe:
5 parts (roughly 1 can) Ginger Ale
2 parts (2 shots) Limeade
1 part (1 shot) Rum (in this case a dark-ish rum, but not as dark as Meyer’s Dark Rum)
5 dashes Angostura Bitters
Mix and enjoy!
Substitutions & similar drinks:
Vodka can replace the rum
Vanilla vodka + lemon juice can replace rum + limeade
Lemonade can may be used in place of limeade
