Drinking: Sour Pirate
OK this one I just made up but it’s delicious, trust. Just don’t leave it out where children can get hold of it – it’s so yummy they might gulp it down!
You’ve heard of Whiskey Sours, well this is a Sour Pirate like Captain Jack Sparrow or Davey Crockett:
2 parts Rum
4 parts Lemonade
1 part Triple Sec or Grenadine
Either chill the lemonade in the freezer until it gets slushy or shake all the ingredients with ice.
Mix and enjoy!
Similar to a whiskey sour or a Long Island Ice Tea (without the massive hangover from mixing too many liquors). Reminds us of slow Southern afternoons in summer, sittin on a wraparound porch and sippin lemonade…
