GMC Bluebird School Bus [Photo Collection]
A collection of photos of our favorite RV – a highly mutated 1987 GMC/Bluebird school bus. Originally from the tornado bowl, this bus now serves as basecamp for the Green Team snowboarding posse every winter and Yard & Patios soundsystem each summer. It runs on 100% vegetable oil (SVO) and/or biodiesel and/or regular diesel fuel. The electronics are powered by solar energy via panels on the roof that charge a series of batteries inside.
Here’s a collection of photos shot during various adventures (more photos will be added as they come in, so check back if you’re interested). Clicking on the photos takes you to a bigger version + a link to more photos from that gallery (in this case, more pix of Kirkwood Mountain Resort).
