Icelandic Ash Strikes Again, Heathrow Open

Mother Nature always gets her way in the end. Air travel is again disrupted as airports around Ireland & England are hit with a second wave of wind-borne ash. Heathrow announced today that some flights would resume this evening, but sources say the international hub may have to close again before Tuesday.

Heathrow Airport is open. However, the volcanic ash cloud coming from Iceland continues to cause occasional problems and passengers are therefore advised to check their airline website for the latest travel information.
