Sergio Perez Recruited By Ferrari Driver Academy
News of our fave GP2 driver being signed to Sauber’s F1 team for the 2011 season just broke earlier this week (“Sergio Perez Moves To Formula 1 In 2011“) and already Ferrari adds icing to the cake by recruiting Perez for their driver development program.
According to the official F1 website:
Perez, who lies second in the 2010 GP2 standings, will make his Formula One race debut alongside Kamui Kobayashi at next March’s Bahrain Grand Prix and the 20 year-old Mexican will now have access to the resources of the Ferrari Driver Academy to boost his preparations.
