SCCA Race Results Jan 20-22 2012 @ ACS Fontana
The 1st SCCA race of 2012 took place despite intermittent downpours that drenched the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. West Coast winter finally set in this week and pouring (sometimes sideways) rain flooded streets & raceways alike. For some, this would dampen spirits + hopes of podium finishes. For others, it was an exciting opportunity to splash thru puddles past slower cars…. ;)
Not everyone needed rain tires to race at ACS in Fontana CA this weekend. The Spec Miata class seemed to enjoy clear skies and dry race lines judging from this on-board cam:
