Sergio Perez Moves To Formula 1 In 2011
Congratulations/Felicitaciones Sergio!!! This is very exciting news – Sauber Motorsport signed a contract with Sergio Perez to drive for their F1 team in 2011.
According to PerezRacing.com:
The 20-year old Mexican driver will line up alongside Kamui Kobayashi for Peter Sauber’s team in the 2011 Formula One World Championship.

We knew someone would scoop up GP2′s most thrilling driver, it was just a matter of which team. Now let’s hope Perez gets a suitable car to drive so he can continue to dazzle us fans…
Word on the street (Paddock Talk Perspective) is that Perez beat out current F1 competitors Timo Glock and Adrian Sutil for the Sauber seat as well as its current occupant Nick Heidfeld who now has to find a new team to represent!
